  • Education: Bachelor of Arts, Elementary Education, Southern Adventist University
  • Professional Endorsements: Completed NCATE, State of Tennessee and SDA Approved Elementary (K-8 Licensure), standard certification.
  • What I like most about teaching:  To me, there is no better way of being part of the future than being involved in teaching. I see it as the ultimate way of shaping the future through educating the young. The process of caring, transfer of knowledge and being responsible for young minds is very important to me. Seeing the students grow is a motivation to my work and their success is my success too. It comes with great joy to mold young minds to become great people in society by achieving their goals and fulfilling their dreams.
Favorite Bible Verse: "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me." --Revelation 3:20

Interests I would like to pursue:  Drawing & painting; especially painting murals
  • Special Joys:  My three sons:  Brian, Bradley and Kevin
  • Favorite Bible Verse:   "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."  --Romans 8:38 & 39

John Elenich (Grades 9-10)
Education: Master of Arts Degree from Nova Southeastern University with a concentration in K-12 Technology Integration.
Certification in Secondary Education from Saginaw Valley State University with endorsements in mathematics and computer science
Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Michigan with endorsements in business administration
  • If I Were Not Teaching? If I were not teaching, I would be learning.
  • Special Joys: My wife TyAnn and my daughter Lila
  • Why I Love Teaching: I love teaching, because teaching possesses the opportunity to inspire students, not only academically, but personally as well. Teaching touches the lives of students, helping them making connections that will last a lifetime.
  • Favorite Bible Verse: James 1:5 " If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Wisdom is seeing things through God's point of view. He promises to give this to us if we ask and I want to see things and people how He sees them and not how I see them.
